Apple Threatens Legal Action Over The Steve Jobs Action Figure

In Icons, the company intending to manufacture the Steve Jobs action figure, is facing a legal threat from Apple, reports The Telegraph.

Apple claims that it owns Steve Jobs' likeness, but In Icons is undeterred and plans to sell the figure regardless.

Tandy Cheung, head of In Icons, told ABC News that "Steve Jobs is not an actor, he's just a celebrity...there is no copyright protection for a normal person."

It bears mentioning that Apple has successfully blocked the sale of similar products in the past -- MICGadget was forced to stop selling its Steve Jobs action figure in 2010.
