The American Cancer Society says cancer rates in the U.S. are on the decline? Down almost 2% per year in men and 1.6% in women since 2004.
The biggest drops were in the four most common cancers: lung, colon, breast and prostate.
The cancer group says that advances in cancer screening and treatment have prevented more than a million total deaths from cancer since the early 1990?s. But some cancers are on the rise.
